McKayla Bieser, Early Childhood Director at Plateau Valley District 50 describes how the school connects students with the region’s ranching heritage. FFA-led lessons, hatching eggs, and other hands-on activities bring agriculture and science to life, while chicken-auction proceeds support early childhood programs. In a school of about 250 students from early childhood through 12th grade, a close-knit community and the motto “better than yesterday” help students build confidence, discipline, and grit.
